Our association is organized in 2006. Our main objective is to promote culture and art through the organizations of the culture events (in which our members participate), education of children and youth through the creative workshops, presentations of the work and its public evaluation.

The aim is to improve the quality of life in a small community, by protecting and maintaining the traditional relationship to nature and natural materials, as well as spending free time in an active and creative way.

The main targets groups are children and young from 10-25 years, but also interested adults.

Although we are local organization, we have members that are living in the region, or even in the capital.

In 2010. our project, “Book-ing: don´t worry, books are here”- mobile library on the beaches, program: Youth initiative was applied and supported by our National Agency.

We are very happy to have an opportunity to participate in a youth exchange. We want to promote our activities, through the art and crafts workshops, but also to meet new people and to learn from them and their experience.

Hrapoćuša

Memories from your vacation or recommendation what certainly you should taste if you spend holiday on the island of Brac.
This is delicious cake that comes from Dol, Island of Brac and almost each family got their own “secret” recipe.
Hrapoćuša named after the stone that you can find in Dol because it’s look like the same name rock.
Excitement of this cake is that it can stand 5-6 days at the room temperature without losing the taste or quality.

Brački vitalac

Brački vitalac is a traditional Brač dish prepared of the lamb innards.

Sir iz mišine (cheese ripened in the skin of lamb)

Sir iz mišine (cheese ripened in the skin of lamb) represents the beginning of culinary. It is produced from milk naturally coagulated within the lamb skin, processed to cheese skin. Ideal to taste with the home-made bread under the lid.

Sandy beach Lovrecina

The Lovrecina cove is situated 3 kilometers east of Postira. It has one of the most beautiful sand beaches on the island, and at the same time an important archaeological finding. Except for excavations that refer to the Roman culture, Lovrecina is also the site of an Old Christian archaeological site, with remains of an Early Christian basilica dating form the 5th century.

Postira seaside festival

We are proud to present first Postira seaside festival of short films from 22.7-24.7

The first Postira Seaside Festival will be held from the 22. to the 24. of July 2011
in the old town square of the village Postira on the island of Brač.
On two nights we will show international short fiction films
and on one night croatian shorts.

This first edition of our festival will be without any competitions and prices,
but we still aim to get the best and newest short films to our town
as we have big plans for the future.

In the years to come, we want to make the festival competitive,
establish different program sections, invite guests
and make the festival a relevant and fun happening for film lovers from all over the globe.

Grand regatta in Postira

Each year it is organized regatta in Postira. This year route is from Postira to Omiš, than Supetar and back to Postira.
