In the immediate vicinity of the town, in the bay of Trstena, there is a newly arranged natural rock-climbing area. At this moment there are 12 rock climbing routes of various demandingness with grades from 5a to 7a+ so both experienced and less experienced climbers will enjoy it. The rock is up to 12 meters high, of quality, and compact whilst from its peak extending an amazing view of the nearby bay and Brač Channel.

The access to the climbing area is cleaned and arranged and is quite simple: a 10 –15-minute easy walk from the main road will bring you to the foot of the rock.

The particularity of this climbing area is that its orientation (north-northeast) provides excellent conditions for climbing in the summer as well since at that time of the year the rock is in the shade from the early afternoon. An ideal way to spend pleasant and exciting summer afternoons which you can combine with swimming at the nearby beach where you can even refresh in a catering facility.

In the area of Trstena, there is still potential for arranging climbing rocks, so we can expect that this offer will soon be even richer in climbing content.
